Ciência Viva – National Agency for Scientific and Technological Culture, the controller responsible for the processing of personal data for the Ciência Viva Journeys initiative,  processes the following categories of personal data required for this activity:

For the following purposes of processing your personal data:

• to allow free access to the Ciência Viva Science Centres;

• to allow online access to the content made available by Ciência Viva Journeys;

• to allow the communication and dissemination of activities, events, projects, services, and other initiatives developed by Ciência Viva Journeys;

• to communicate strictly necessary personal data to partner entities that carry out activities within the scope of the Ciência Viva Journeys initiative, for the purposes of managing participation, contacting participants, and carrying out the activities in which the data subjects take part, so that these may be duly followed up.

Personal data will be retained only for the period necessary for the purposes for which it will be processed and for as long as retention periods arising from pre-contractual, contractual, legal obligations, or legitimate interests of Ciência Viva – National Agency for Scientific and Technological Culture must be complied with, after which it will be deleted.
